Ideal candidate will have an IP litigation background with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail imperative. Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support their in-house litigation team. Client is a technology and software company with a fantastic working environment based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Candidate will have strong litigation background including working with subpoenas, litigation hold requests, and all phases of the discovery process; and solid understanding of the EDRM Stages and working knowledge of e-Discovery tools (Relativity and EnCase). Our client is actively recruiting for a General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. Our client is an emerging HRO in the San Francisco Bay Area, specializing in contingent workforce management solutions. This position will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and updating all compliance, legal, and HR policies in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws. Excellent opportunity to shine as a thought leader and subject matter expert as this will be a critical, strategic, and public role within the organization as well as in the HRO space. Required background includes: Law Degree and active California Bar License; Expert knowledge of current employment labor laws (federal and state) and related issues (i.e., ADA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, EEO, FMLA, etc.); Eight years minimum of labor law with independent contractor compliance experience; Prior background in a government agency role, corporate legal/HR role a plus; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
